I’ve been extremely impressed with the PakRax roof rack on my 1st gen Sequoia. Installation was straightforward, everything lined up exactly as it should, and the overall fitment is perfect.
One of the biggest things I noticed after installing it was the lack of wind noise. Even at highway speeds, I haven’t noticed any additional noise from the rack.
There are also plenty of crossbars and mounting options for accessories, so there’s a ton of flexibility for setting it up around your specific needs. Whether it’s an awning, recovery gear, camping equipment, or whatever else you want to carry, there’s no shortage of mounting space.
Between the quality, fitment, functionality, and clean design, PakRax absolutely nailed this rack. I couldn’t be happier with it and would highly recommend it to anyone with a 1st gen Sequoia.
Looks great and assembly was straight forward and a breeze. Only wish I would have installed before the lift!
Nothing but good things that I can say about this rack and this company I love that all the components are made in the USA. Very easy and straightforward installation, and a quality product in general the added features like the recessed light pockets in the back for chase lights. I was pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail regarding this rack, even the packaging is thought through and is very detail oriented.
